I have no idea what to write about myself really, I thing that this is the hardest thing to do to be honest with you. I guess I’ll start by talking about my blog or why I decided to start Lace and Tulle. So, one afternoon about three years ago, I discovered the first bloggers I ever followed on the pages of Teen Vogue. Kelly Framel from The Glamourai was the first blog I ever read and I became enamored. I had just discovered the best thing ever and was asking myself “why did I not know of this before?” The idea of having this personal space where you get to share your style and/or anything for the matter that you love making it your own and sharing it with you mesmerized me.

Emily Schuman from Cupcakes and Cashmere was the second blog I read. I fell completely in love with it so much that I started reading her blog from post 1. She is the reason that I wanted to start my blog. I’m sure we all had our inspiration, mine was Emily. I have always loved fashion, I had my inspiration books from various monthly magazines I received every month. You know…the book with the cutout pictures that you love…way before we had Pinterest.

To date, I still love the idea of sitting in my room sipping coffee, listening to Corinne Bailey Rae whilst browsing through the pages. Best moments ever!
